I’m not sure if this is Rufus or System-Rescue related. Under Windows 11 Pro, I used Rufus to create a bootable USB drive with System-Rescue 13 installed. When I try to boot, I get a message that the device did not authenticate. I’ve tried using “BIOS or UEFI” and “UEFI (non-CSM)”. Neither work. Where should I go for assistance?
This looks like a UEFI Secure Boot issue to me. System Rescue does not support secure boot, so you would have to disable secure boot in your firmware to be able to use it. This issue has already been discussed and there is no easy solution to add support for it since System Rescue is based on Arch Linux which does not secure boot.
